**The Seer**
John Black is not your average teenager. Having just experienced his 16th birthday, his world is turned upside down when he realizes that our universe is actually made up of two independent realities and that he is the prophesied savior of both of them. As the new leader in the battle of good and evil, he must discover in himself the strength and friendships required to ensure that the world as he knows it continues to exist.

A little poem for you

I wrote this when I started dating my husband. It sort of summed things up at the time

Twisted couplet
Souls combined
Two hearts beating
Lives entwined

You envy me
Like I desire you
You are my shadow
I am your hue

Take me softly
Down through time
I will always love you
Because your mine.

Sorry for the delay in writing of late! I appear to be suffering from a common disorder often referred to as "writers block". Its a bit like "man flu" - the symptoms are far superior to the "cure" so I have indeed been procrastinating rather than writing.
So I am taking today to write instead a little bit of poetry. Just to get the forces flowing again!

Winter

Wrapped into spun fibre
Huddled close to the nearest sun
The dreary outweighs the sublime
When winter comes.

More focus on your footprint
Sitting softly on earthy tones
While ashen skies lay open
When winter comes.

Misty voices speak in whispers
Subtles movements for keeping on task
Shuffling, breathing, sighing
Waiting for the spring.

Onwards and upwards

Well I have unofficially written two books (they still need editing and rewriting from which I have sought some help) which *fingers crossed* will both be publishable.
Now onto the next challenge, getting stuck into the next book whilst editing the other two as feedback comes to hand. I feel it must be a terrifically difficult job to do all of this on your own all the time. I've found that reading back on my own work, its very hard to pick it to pieces easily as its such a lot of your time, effort and personal life that gets written into each one. So it's been extremely helpful to have objective eyes to read them. I admire and applaud any author that manages to do an entire book from writing, editing and getting published all by themselves. What a feat!
So, as I grab my wine glass this evening and sit back in my chair again I will be thinking of the next book ahead.
Now what shall I call it.....

It's finished!!! The Wiccan Wife is done!!!

Yes folks - I have finally completed the Wiccan Wife (this is going to be a party bigger than New Years for me I'm afraid). It took many unexpected twists and turns in the book than what I had anticipated when I started writing it, but I am very excited by it. I just have some re-reading to do and then I will need some assistance with editing and proof reading but I am very keen to see how this one does in publication.

In the meantime I am deciding what to write next? I have another Seer book lined up which I could get stuck into, or alternatively I could try something completely random. Any thoughts or feedback on this folks would be greatly appreciated :)
